Job Description:
DTN is looking for a Meteorologist I to join our team out of our Aberdeen or Utrecht office. This is not a remote role.
What you'd be doing:
- Produce and deliver weather forecasts to key clients in various sectors by monitoring observations and evaluating weather model guidance.
- Leverage in-house technology and datasets to create detailed text and graphical content for delivery to customers.
- Generate timely and informative weather impact alerts during active hazardous weather events.
- Quality control the integrity of forecast products being issued to customers and isolate and resolve issues impacting forecast product creation or distribution.
- Develop industry understanding of impact of weather forecasts to customer operations.
