Job Type: Full time 31 Days holiday (39 hours a week, Monday to Friday) £34,000 - £40,000 per annum depending on experience.
We seek a time-served fully qualified Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our fast-growing team.
We carry out a varied selection of plumbing & heating duties including:- Installation, repairs & servicing of gas fuel boilers including natural gas, LPG, & oil boiler, bathrooms, kitchens, renovations, extensions, new builds, underfloor heating, all general plumbing & reactive plumbing.
We are based in Grangemouth, most of our work is local but currently have an ongoing contract near Perth & we cover the central belt of Scotland.
The role will vary from week to week and will include the following: -
- First & second fixing the plumbing in new builds (privately owned)
- Full refurbishments
- Bathroom projects from start to finish.
- Carrying out heating installations & gas works
- Repairing & servicing boilers.
- General plumbing installs & repairs.
- Reactive works for the local water authorities
- Renewables (coming soon)

Requirements of Role:
- Have a full driving licence (preferably a clean license)
- Work as part of a team and perhaps assist in training an apprentice as well as working on your own.
- Take pride in your work and be respectful of our customer’s homes.
- Have good timekeeping and attention to detail.
- Positive attitude to work and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Being able to prioritise, multitask & demonstrate your own initiative is essential.
- Hand tools (other tools like core guns, press gun will be supplied)
- References will be required
Experience: & Qualifications:
- Must have proof of full accreditation with a governing body eg (SNIPEF)
- Gas Safe qualification with ACS- CCN1, CENWAT1 as a minimum
- LPG, Oil, Unvented cylinders, Heat Pump and experience would also be an advantage but not essential & training can be provided
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (after 3 month trial period)Competitive Rate of Pay depending on Qualifications and Experience 39 hours a week, flexible start/end times if required, possibly part-time hours but prefer a full time
