Job description
- - Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and heating systems, including pipework, fixtures, sanitaryware sinks, toilets, showers, water heaters, and dishwashers
- - Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing problems and provide effective solutions
- - Identify and locate pipe connections and passage holes and plan pipe system layouts
- - Interpret blueprints and building codes to determine optimal plumbing solutions
- - Ensure that all plumbing systems meet industry and safety standards
- - Collaborate with construction workers, electricians, and other professionals to complete installations and repairs
- - Estimate time and cost for plumbing projects and maintain accurate records of materials used
- - Respond promptly and professionally to service calls and requests for emergency repairs
- - Keep up-to-date with new plumbing technologies and techniques through training and continuing education

- Requirements:
- - High school diploma or equivalent
- - Valid plumbing qualification NVQ level 2/3 plumbing and heating
- - Legionnaire Awareness HSG70 qualification
- - Minimum of 3 years of experience in plumbing
- - Knowledge of local plumbing codes and safety regulations
- - Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- - Excellent communication and customer service skills
- - Computer literate
- - Commercial and/or domestic gas safe qualifications would be advantageous
- - Physical ability for manual handling and to operate in awkward spaces
- - Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- - Clean driver's license
