Working within Homefire Group, an opportunity has arisen for a Solid Fuel Heating Engineer to join our Isle of Wight depot on a permanent, full-time basis.
As a member of our installation team you would be:
Installing stoves, boiler stoves, flue system and fireplaces to a very high standard within domestic, commercial and heritage properties, also assisting with chimney sweeping and undertaking servicing and repair works to appliances and chimney systems as required.
Working closely with customers and co-contractors safely and effectively to produce a very high standard of work.
Promoting the company’s range of products and services, upholding our excellent reputation and high standard of customer service.
The successful candidate will:
o Have experience using hand and power tools ideally within previous employment
o Multi trade experience including –
- Small scale brick laying
- Rendering
- Tiling
- Plastering
o Excellent interpersonal skills sought as this role will involve dealing with clients in domestic properties on a regular basis
o Self motivated and capable of working effectively alone or as part of a team
o Ability to solve problems and work towards solutions with customers within our industry framework.
o Clean Cat B Driving licence or above
On the job training will be provided to the successful candidate.
