The Singapore High Commission in London is looking for experienced Chauffeur(s) to join the team in our Belgravia office.
Chauffeur
Applicants should have a valid UK driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. Applicants must be able to work as a team, display positive, service-oriented work ethic and abide by rules and regulations. Successful appointment will be subject to an interview and a driving test.
Job Requirements
· Relevant experience as a Driver
· A valid UK driver’s license with a clean driving record
· Good knowledge of London roads and boroughs
· Familiarity with locations of prominent Government Buildings and Offices
· Full time position, which includes driving duties after official working hours, weekends, and bank holidays. Overtime Salary will be paid.
· Flexibility with working hours and willingness to work additional hours is required
· A polite and professional disposition
· Service oriented and ability to remain calm in stressful situations
· Good spoken and written English
Initial starting salary of approximately £20,000 - £21,000 (per annum), negotiable based on work experience. Starting salary excludes an attractive annual bonus package (discretionary) based on individual work performance and economic outlook of Singapore. Chauffeurs are also eligible for an annual uniform allowance, monthly overtime salary (1.5x on weekdays and 2x on weekends and/or public holidays) for work done beyond regular office hours and meal allowance (where applicable).
Contract: Permanent, Full Time Position
Official Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Interviews will be conducted in March/April 2023.
