Plumbing and Heating Engineer
Full Time, 52 weeks per year
Permanent Opportunity
£32,772 per annum
Denstone College wish to provide an exciting opportunity for a qualified Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our friendly and supportive maintenance team. You will be responsible for conducting required plumbing and heating jobs around the site, as well as supporting the maintenance team with general maintenance tasks as instructed by the Maintenance Manager. Denstone College and The Prep at Denstone College are a leading independent school in rural Staffordshire. Beginning life as a school in 1873, Denstone College is a thriving, co-educational boarding and day school of approximately 720 pupils, situated close to Uttoxeter. We have our own preparatory school, which has recently moved onto the main campus, providing continuous education on the same site for pupils aged from 4–18. The school is part of the Woodard Corporation, and the Head is in membership of HMC.
The successful candidate will have:
- City and Guilds NVQ level 3 (plumbing and heating) or equivalent qualification or experience
- Proven recent experience of working in plumbing and heating to ACS pass level for domestic and non-domestic gas works (excluding boats and caravans)
- A Working knowledge of other trades
- Ability to work on own initiative within given guidelines
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Experience of working in a maintenance environment
