M&A Analyst - Remote Spring Internship

KVLR is looking for individuals to join a highly selective program at a dynamic and inclusive private equity firm. The internship program is an opportunity to expand your knowledge of the private equity and healthcare industries, while gaining exposure to KVLR’s disciplined investment process. Our program starts with one week of onboarding, followed by “real-world” experience round table weekly discussions. An internship opportunity with KVLR is ideal for an individual with an entrepreneurial spirit, that expects to work hard during the course of this internship to succeed. The M&A Analyst should expect to be part of a leading group that specifically invests in healthcare related companies. The analyst will work on a variety of transactions and valuations, typically between $5mm to $200mm and during all stages of the diligence and closing process.
Responsibilities of an M&A Analyst at KVLR:
· Contact prospective companies and management teams vis-à-vis potential partnership through an acquisition and/or merger. Identify if the company meets KVLR's investment criteria. Points of contact will mainly be via email and phone.
· Collect and evaluate financial statements of potential investment opportunities, calculate valuation based on adjusted EBTIDA, conduct market research to understand growth opportunities for expansion.
· Structure well-organized notes in KVLR's centralized portal system.
· Understanding the M&A due diligence process, learn the consolidation of data and management of a virtual data room the DD process and
· Support cross-functional initiatives; research and identifying new investments.
Qualification & Personal Qualities Required:
· Demonstrated track record of academic success and/or professional pursuits in Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or Corporate Strategy.
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
· Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and accountability
· Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills
· Ability to internalize feedback and improve through coaching and training sessions
· High degree of personal and professional maturity
· Interest in financial markets and the evolving healthcare industry trends
Compensation: Only College Credits Upon Approval
