Do you have a proven background in a store operation focussed role, or at Merchandising Admin Assistant/Allocator level?
If so, we have an opportunity for a Merchandising Operations Assistant to join our Retail Merchandising team here at Regatta.
The Impact you will have in this role is:
Good relationships built with the field operations team, with effective execution of plans.
Work is completed autonomously, with the business needs of the stores prioritised.
Responsibility is taken for day-to-day communication with stores, with responded to and dealt with in a timely manner.
The Assistant Merchandiser and Merchandising Administrative Assistant are worked with closely for UK concessions, with desired actioned completed.
Store ranging / space changes on internal system are actioned and documents are reported.
Communication documents are produced for stores on a weekly / ad hoc basis – weekly newsletter, best sellers, trade updates, price changes.
The Marketing team are liaised with regarding POS for planned instore activities.
Store-to-store stock transfers are monitored, confirmed and actioned.
Additional responsibilities are undertaken as directed by Line Manager.
Any office admin tasks are undertaken as required.

As our future Merchandising Operations Assistant, you will have:
Previous experience within a store operations focused role, an administration role, or at MAA/Allocator level
Ability to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and have solid experience of building ‘Great Relationships’ and evidence of a ‘Can Do’ approach to problem solving
Education to GCSE level or equivalent including a Grade C GCSE Maths.
Advanced Microsoft office skills particularly Excel skills.
You must have a high interest in working with detail and very comfortable working with numbers and formula.
Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Presentation skills desirable.
Should be confident to make sound commercial recommendations to the merchandising team.
Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills
Ability to follow up and follow-thru
Team oriented attitude
Quick Learner
Detail oriented and able recognize misses and oversights
Strong knowledge of store operations / concessions desirable
Qualifications in retail, purchasing & supply chain management or other relevant subjects such as business, marketing, mathematics, statistics, operational research, can be advantageous.
