Derbyshire County Council is looking to recruit an enthusiastic team manager to support the development and delivery of the Local Authorities statutory functions in relation to children missing from education and children in education and employment. This post holder will be a key member of the Education Welfare Service leadership team, and the successful candidate will need to be able to work as part of a team as well as manage their own workload and be self-motivated.
The post holder will need excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work under pressure to tight timescales. The post requires you to communicate with both parents and professional at all levels, working in partnership with both external organisations and departments of the County Council. to ensure equitable, high quality and efficient service delivery
The post holder will be required to present cases in the Magistrates Court in the role of prosecuting officer for the Local Authority.
