Assisting with the creation of weekly core stock orders, which is the main task of the departments, managing these orders into the business efficiently Working to tight restrictions to ensure stock is maintained Assisting with the creation of weekly core stock orders, which is the main task of the departments, managing these orders into the business efficiently Analysing data from the previous year, and current trends to make the right conclusions and identify gaps in current market Cultivating close working relationships with key suppliers to ensure the business is adopted by them Maintain and update WSSI's & Linecards on a daily basis. Working to calendars, which involves forecasting crucial lines for long periods Work closely with our Freight Forwarder, ensuring containers are on the best vessels to meet your delivery schedule. Progression Opportunities |Flexible hours Experience as Import Merchandiser, Junior Merchandiser, Merchandiser etc ready to step up to manage own categories Results orientated with a track record of achieving targets & delivering growth Strong negotiation, social and influencing skills and methodical with numbers Excellent communication skills, as each day the role will involve liaising with our factories across the world, and speaking with our French colleagues. Able to utilise data to fully appreciate customer behaviour and habits Being proficient in the use of Excel where the business uses heavily formulated worksheets.
