Based in the historic city of York, Stockton Hall Hospital is a medium secure 112 bedded unit spanning over 7 wards, caring for people with mental illness, personality disorders and learning disabilities.

We are looking for experienced and non experienced HCAs to join our growing team. In return for your skills and experience, we will offer you a supportive environment where you can grow and develop as well as full support in any chosen path of progression.
As part of the team, you will be involved in;
- Assisting in the implementation of agreed care plans under the supervision of trained nurses. Acting as an associate nurse to support the patients to meet their goals agreed within the care plans
- Participating as a member of the nursing team in the delivery of care as agreed in individual care plans.
- Developing therapeutic relationships with service users, remaining conscious of the limits and boundaries of a professional relationship
- Completing all relevant documentation in accordance with the priory’s Recruitment’s procedures and professional guidelines
- Ensuring patients’ rights to confidentiality are respected and that Priory’s professional policies are adhered to.
- Supporting patients to achieve their full recovery potential which includes, supervising some community activity
- Support the safe and secure management of our patients by working within the risk assessments and Positive Behaviour Plans
What we’d like from you:
- Previous experience within a healthcare setting desirable but not essential
- A strong sense of responsibility

What we’d like to give you:
- £11.80 p/h - annual salary of £23,071 for 37.5 hours
