Job description

We are looking for ambitious, dynamic and highly motivated Band3 Mental Health Support Workers to join UHBW and who want to make a real difference to the patients they provide care for. The demand for Mental Health care has never been in higher in our communities and in our hospital, so we are very excited to establish a new Team of dedicated support workers to provide high quality Mental Health care. Under the direction of the Liaison Psychiatry Service you will provide direct day-to-day care to adults of all ages that require additional support for their mental health needs whilst in hospital. This is a great opportunity to become involved in something new for our patients. The work is challenging but very rewarding. This advert may close early if we receive a large number of applications. Demonstrate caring and compassion for your patients Provide direct care, including personal care, to adults with mental health care needs. To work with individuals experiencing a range of mental health presentations including mental illness, emotional distress, cognitive impairment, delirium & dementia.
