We have an exciting opportunity to join our service in Acocks Green area of Birmingham. You will be supporting both males and females in their own flats, under a supported living system.

We are looking for a vibrant self-motivated person to join our team.

We are currently recruiting for day staff.

We are looking for an enthusiast person to join our team, that can work both as part of the team and also on their own initiative.

We are looking for confident professional support workers with a passion for delivering outstanding care in supported living.

About the Role:

As a Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to be a part of inspiring the care and support to our residents by:

Supporting people with social and physical activities

Booking and going with people to appointments

Supporting with PROMPTS on personal care.

Supporting people with meal preparations eating and drinking

Monitoring individuals’ mood and behaviour

Following an up to date care plan

Protecting dignity and privacy

Promoting independence and choice

About You:

Qualifications in care is DESIRED but not essential as full training will be provided to the successful candidate. (e.g. health and social care Level 2, 3).

Previous experience working in care settings desired but again not essential.

Honest reliable and trustworthy.

A confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to use basic computer systems to be able to complete daily logs.

Working with other healthcare professionals to ensure that all care needs meet the highest possible standards.

Be able to develop and maintain good working relationships with Staff and Residents

Flexible to work shifts.

The right to work in the UK

Successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check
