I'm delighted to be recruiting for a fantastic Mental health staff Nurse role based in Ballymena for a Mental health unit. This home boasts of a fantastic reputation and always receives high Standard RQIA reports. This Mental health unit facilitates 8 Beds.

The role:
- You will work closely with a highly motivated team who focus on providing the highest quality care to a diverse resident group.
- Working Closely with your team of Nurses and Care assistants to deliver the highest quality care to your Patients / Residents
- Administration of medication and keeping of medication records at all times.
- Checking temperature, Pulse and blood pressure as well as other vital signs
- Checking for infections, Bedsores as well as wounds that the patients may have incurred.
- Dressing or re-dressing wounds and assessing the healing process
- Developing and improving the healthcare plan in collaboration with the other nurses and care assistants in the home
- Providing Palliative care as needed to keep the patient comfortable.
What we’re looking for:
- You must be a fully qualified General Nurse, Mental health nurse, or Learning disability nurse
- 6+ months of Nursing experience
- A Valid NMC Pin
