The Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in Swindon, provided by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust, based in Old Town in Swindon, are keen to hear from you if you're interested in joining a unique administrative team!
We are dedicated to supporting the professional medical staff, of all levels, who provide care to Children and Adolescents, including those with Learning Disabilities, experiencing Mental Health issues in Swindon.
We are looking to recruit a full-time administrator to work within our multi-disciplinary team. This is an administrative role which can be demanding, challenging and requires skill to handle all contacts with confidence, compassion, patience and professionalism.
The work of the administrative team is essential in enabling us to provide excellent care to patients, their families and carers and we are looking for a motivated individual who will enjoy the opportunity to contribute to this work.
You will need to be an excellent communicator as the role involves a high amount of direct contact with our patients, their families and professionals, both face to face and on the telephone. The role can be very demanding and so high levels of emotional resilience are also required. We are looking for someone who will thrive in an everchanging, fast pace environment, who can maintain a good sense of humour and is a good team player.
You must be IT literate, being familiar with outlook and team and confident with using a team inbox facility, although training will be provided. You must be able to demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach to work whilst having good administrative and time management skills.
The administration team support a large team of professionals who are extremely supportive and together we all make a real difference in the community.
The role is pivotal in supporting our team with a wide range of administrative tasks these include; greeting patients on arrival, escorting visitors, providing high standard of literacy support to our clinicians, a professional reception function to the outpatient department including keeping areas clean and welcoming, processing referrals, managing waiting lists, dealing with a range of telephone queries, typing and taking minutes at meetings.
