Summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Membership Manager to join international NGO Climate Group and lead the continued growth of our EV100 and EV100+ corporate leadership campaigns, as well as develop the engagement and service provision for our international member companies.
EV100 and EV100+ bring together international companies committed to drive the transition to electric vehicles. They set the example by pledging to switch to EVs in their own operations by 2030 for light-duty vehicles (cars, vans, etc.) or 2040 for heavy duty vehicles (trucks) and come together as a public voice to advocate for ambitious EV policy setting and market acceleration.
The campaigns give public recognition to their efforts and provide a global platform of peers to support their progress. Activities include public profiling of members leadership, knowledge generation and international best practice sharing as well as joint engagement with policy and market contexts to advance the electromobility agenda.
The Membership Manager will work in close coordination with other team members across our international offices to drive the continued growth of our campaign membership, as well as develop our capacity to engage member companies in our work to deliver campaign impact.

About the role
To keep growing the international reach of this powerful network, offer strong value to our members and make our growing body of work as impactful as possible, we are looking for a dynamic Membership Manager to lead our engagement with prospect and member companies to deliver campaign impact.
Key responsibilities will include, to:
- Monitoring EU/European legislative, regulatory and policy developments, identifying opportunities for Climate Group to have impact leveraging our strengths with subnational governments and systems change campaigns
- Develop and implement our campaign recruitment strategy in close collaboration with our international offices and other relevant colleagues
- Lead the outreach to relevant target companies and take responsibility for key conversationsIdentify and leverage promotion and recruitment opportunities for EV100 and EV100+ such as through events, media, trade bodies and other partnerships
- Oversee the delivery of our ongoing member engagement activities, working closely with other parts of the team to ensure a coherent, high-value member experience that maximises campaign impact
- Develop a strong peer learning programme for members on key themes around fleet electrification that supports the success of their commitments and the delivery of overall campaign impact
- Line manage a Membership Officer, directing their work as they contribute to both recruitment and member engagement activitiesContribute to Climate Groups cross-team working groups on relevant topics (e.g., member engagement) to align strategies and facilitate exchange and learning across the organisation
- Manage relationships with external partners and networks representing EV100, EV100+ and Climate Group at events and meetings as required
About you
This is an exciting role for a dynamic individual to manage prospect and member-related activities across our portfolio of EV100 and EV100+ activities:
Essential:
- Commitment to the mission of Climate Group, and particularly the goal of accelerating transport electrification
- Strong understanding of corporate perspective on climate leadership, including appreciation of commercial and financial drivers
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
- Experience of relationship management particularly with the private sector, ideally including at senior management level
- Comfortable driving forward recruitment and engagement conversations in an meaningful and professional manner
- Strong organisational skills, ability to lead multiple activity areas simultaneously and to deadline
- Proactive and able to work independently and unsupervised to deliver tasks, and achieve project objectives
- Good team worker and ability to coordinate effectively with multiple colleagues and partners across a range of culture
- A strong desire and ability to develop skills and experience in line with the needs of a rapidly developing campaign
Desirable:
- Existing background on electromobility, climate / sustainability agenda or related fields
- Experience of working in a global environment
- Language skills - Fluency in English is necessary; additional language skills - such as French, German, Polish, or Spanish - are a plus.

Youll be based in our London head office near Tower Bridge (SE1 2NQ), a 12-minute walk from London Bridge station and enjoy the benefits of flexible and hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

This is a full-time, permanent position. The salary offered is £37,000 to £41,200 per annum, based on experience.
