We have an exciting opportunity for a Membership Engagement Officer to join our team. In this role, you'll co-ordinate, plan and deliver cross-channel marketing and engagement campaigns to our members, in line with our engagement and retention strategies, and contribute to the delivery of membership targets and KPIs for the business.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Coordinates the delivery of the annual online and offline marketing plans and campaigns for membership
- Continuous improvement of engagement at each membership touch point in the customer journey, to identify and help to remove barriers to joining.
- Works with internal stakeholders teams, to develop and deliver the annual member email plan.
- Responsible for the creative and content brief design, managing content and creative execution, campaign testing, reviewing campaign metrics and while ensuring brand and GDPR compliance.
- Coordinates all member advertising and messaging, including in store POS, acquisition advertising and website content, with an aim to promote a more diverse and inclusive membership
- Collaborates cross-functionally to plan, organise and communicate our annual member trips and events calendar, including our AGM.
- Ensures that membership communications are integrated through social media to drive maximum engagement with members.
- Writes compelling copy to keep our members informed and engaged on how our business is doing, our work in the community, democratic matters.
- Uses member insight and data to analyse campaigns and performance to improve campaign approach and results.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- A marketing professional with solid experience in a similar role either with a membership organisation, retailer or brand.
- A strong copywriter able to write compelling and engaging copy
- Some experience in email and mobile marketing, with understanding of an email automated marketing system.
- Good understanding of data driven campaigns and ensuring measures and indicators are set and reported on.
- Strong stakeholder management and communications skills, including experience working with senior stakeholders and an ability to brief accurately to colleagues and third parties.
- Ability to plan and use technology to execute campaigns.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and good at prioritisation
- Willingness to travel to stores throughout the Southern Co-op estate as required
