Job description
The Sr. Analyst is an integral part of the Meeting and Events Team who will help successfully execute internal and external meetings of all sizes. These meetings can include, Board of Directors Meetings, VIP Leadership Meetings as well as Customer meetings and events both locally and abroad. This position requires a candidate that enjoys working in a group setting but is also a self-starter and can work independently, making decisions as necessary.
ROLE
The Sr. Analyst will work closely with a dedicated team and will need to develop and adhere to project timelines while taking ownership of certain aspects of the meeting, i.e. attendee management, travel coordination, vendor payments, interaction and leadership of 3rd Party Suppliers, presentation creation etc., as well as full ownership of smaller meetings. A successful candidate will:
- Research and procure information from suppliers, venues, restaurants, gifting, activities, etc., decide on best suppliers for the meeting and present recommendations to the client (Independent decision making)
- Develop venue presentation decks for client meetings
- Participate, present and play an active role on client calls, and weekly planning meetings as directed by planner
- Participate in site inspections, vendor meetings and provide onsite support as needed (travel is required) Independent decision making necessary with regard to area of responsibility. For example, if responsible for ground transportation, coordinator make all decisions to execute with excellence.
- Leverage Cvent technology tool for attendee management and invitations. Own invitation/website development and manage attendee guest lists and responses. (Independent Decision Making)
- Become proficient in departmental tools to ensure compliance including; Cvent, Coupa, Oracle, etc.
- Create and manage travel itineraries for VIPs as required (Independent Decision Making regarding format and communication)
- Produce collateral; name badges, labels, tent cards, etc. (Independent Decision Making on type of collateral used and look and feel for meeting)
- Act as an ambassador of the Mastercard brand and demonstrate the highest level of ethics and protocol at all times
- Meet all deadlines as established by leadership and adhere to project plan
