About The Role
We are currently looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Pharmacist to join our Integrated Urgent care division.
This job provides you with an opportunity to use your Pharmacist knowledge to provide great patient care and develop in a management role. You’ll have the opportunity to work with great colleagues, with external stakeholders and with NHS England commissioners.
The base of this role is flexible. We have several sites across the UK or we can offer working from home arrangements. Travel will be required to our various locations in England.

This role is for 22.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
This role will work alongside our National Pharmacy Technician for Integrated Urgent Care, providing them with a high level of medicines management structure and support for the division.
The post holder will need to ensure PPGs IUC teams meet contractual and regulatory requirements in the management of medications across the sites. This role is not involved in dispensing.
This will include:
- Advising on and monitoring prescribing practices.
- Advising on and monitoring dispensing arrangements.
- Advising on and monitoring medication storage.
- Advising on and monitoring controlled drug storage and use.
Stakeholders for this role will include:
- Pharmaceutical suppliers
- NHSE commissioning groups
- The Home Office.
- Non-medical prescribers
- Doctors
- Other pharmacy divisions across PPG
About You
- The successful candidate must of a UK registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Excellent communication skills and articulate at communicating with staff at all levels.
- Good time management and prioritisation skills.
Qualifications:
- Registered and in good standing with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
Additional information:
This role is for 22.5 hours per week. The setup of these hours is to be discussed at interview. There is scope to offer extra hours in a clinical setting. For example undertaking telephone consultations within our NHS111 service or working within PPG pharmacies.
