What you will do

In this vital Field Based role, you will interact with Key Opinion Leaders to communicate and advance Amgen’s scientific platform as aligned with Amgen's goals, objectives and affiliate medical plans and provide feedback based on those interactions.

This role is integral in ensuring accuracy in the communication of data on our products across the medical and scientific community and will also support Amgen and Investigator Sponsored Studies (ISS). As such this role demands a professional with ability to optimally communicate complex scientific matters with stakeholders at all levels.

All activities will be conducted in compliance with UK ABPI and Amgen regulatory standards and include:

  • To provide field-based insights on the Amgen oncology portfolio through scientific engagement with stakeholders in research and NHS as well as managing UK ISS and clinical trial site relationships.

  • Assisting and close collaboration with Cross Functional Brand Team members within the UK/Ireland affiliate as well as acting as a UK point of contact for global activities including clinical development and strategy planning

  • Responsible for pipeline material generation and review in accordance with ABPI code of conduct

What we expect of you

  • Advanced degree (e.g. PharmD, PhD, MSc) is preferred but candidates with an undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area and proven experience will be considered

  • Substantial previous Field based experience as MSL or Sales Rep preferably within Oncology therapy area.

  • Substantial work experience within the therapy area of Hematology Oncology

  • Knowledge and experience of the ABPI code, regulatory affairs and drug safety
