Purpose Statement
The core objective of this role is to lead and coach on the day-to-day activities of the group of Clinical Sales Reps as key members of the Commercial Organisation. Provide continuous tools and education to team members to ensure up to date industry, competitor and product knowledge. Actively support the division to achieve their annual sales targets. Shares clinical and technical experiences in a way that motivates others and teaches applicable skills; Coaches others in the field and team members to sell the next case to support the sales plan & strategy; Actively supports corporate/divisional selling initiatives by proactively assisting in the training and influencing their team Achieves Sales Plan for Therapy/ Franchise whilst also collaborating with Account Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Physician training: Make sure the CSRs are clinical trained and develop the capabilities to be able to conduct training for physicians on products and procedure. Works with Marketing Manager/Business Unit Manager to plan trainings for physicians according to the business opportunities and priorities
- Clinical selling: Coordinates actions to be taken by CSRs in the field that concentrate on identifying the clinical need of the customers and provide clinical solutions that drive adoption in existing accounts and initiates business in new accounts
- Advisor / expert of diseases and products: Make sure the CSRs are clinical trained to act as a consultant for doctors by providing solutions to medical, clinical and technical questions. Provides inputs to the Account Manager on the technical parts of tender and provides input on commercial offers, in creating deals and negotiating offers where requested. Builds and executes plan for Therapy/ Franchise expansion by identifying the referring network to increase patient flow in relation to Strategic Business Partnerships & KOLs. Supports Account Manager with KOL management.
- Business or Market development (growing procedures through training and development of key centres/physicians): Assist Business Unit Manager/ Marketing Manager in assessment of potential new accounts; Provides input to account potentials and behaviours based on defined market segmentation, Account Targeting Initiatives.
- Clinical Sales training: Make sure the CSRs are clinical trained and develop the capabilities to act as a consultant for doctors by providing solutions to medical, clinical and technical questions and thus selling clinically
- KOL relationship maintaining: As key member of the national sales team, maintain KOL relationships.
- As interface to Clients and Customer Service has direct responsibility to facilitate, share documents and process to identify, notify and ensure any complaint or problem are addressed, thereby demonstrating high commitment to Quality in all interactions and behaviours. Drive as needed to support and facilitate any field corrective action related his/her scope
