Salary £24,823 plus fantastic benefits
Full time - 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Varying shift pattern on a rotational basis – Working 08:00 – 16:00 or 12:00 – 20:00

Working in our UK support functions you’ll play a key part in helping our customer facing colleagues deliver exceptional standards of customer service and patient care. You’ll help us make health happen by:
- Locate, prepare and distribute medical records to Outpatients, Admissions and other departments within the hospital, while maintaining an accurate tracer card system.
- Retrieve and modify patient details from the hospital computer. File and retrieve all case notes, pathology results and any other relevant documentation to maintain an up-to-date filing system.
- Adhere to and complete procedures relating to the secondary storage, retention and archiving of medical records on the scanning systems in use within the department.
- Deal with all telephone calls and enquiries in a courteous, efficient and professional manner.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times and display an understanding of the implication of the Data Protection Act and the Access to Medical Records Policy for the release of information.
- Prepare and complete all the necessary Medical Record reception duties in O.P.D. and compile daily statistics and maintain departmental registers.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
- Good standard of education and I.T. literacy.
- It would be desirable to have experience in a healthcare environment or previous medical records knowledge or similar filing experience.
- Administration experience
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
