An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the dynamicMedical Photography Department of North Bristol NHS Trust.
We are seeking a motivated individual with a degree in medical photography or a degree in photography plus relevant clinical experience. In addition, the successful candidate will be AHCS registered or eligible or qualified to a registrable level.
The successful candidate will work within Medical Photography department.
You will support the department leadership by ensuring the quality and consistency of photographs and videos produced by the department as well as maintaining IMI QAS Level 2, undertaking regular audits and training with the team as required and working with the Head of Department/Seniors Photographers to continually develop and improve the service working with new stakeholders as appropriate.
The Medical Photography department provides an essential service supporting excellent care across the Trust and you will be delivering a high quality comprehensive service including medical photography/video (studio/ward/clinic/theatre) and ophthalmic photography. Excellent communication/interpersonal skills, and a thorough understanding of image management / digital technology is essential.
You will be able to demonstrate an ability to work independently, and with the team, to manage the workload and deliver projects within agreed timelines.

- To provide a medical photography/video service to inpatients and outpatients of NBT as part of their medical records, medico-legal work, research, teaching and/or publication.
- To deliver a service in line with the departmental and Trust guidelines, abiding by all consent, confidentiality and legal guidelines.
- To provide a photographic/video support service for public relations activities undertaken by the Trust following national and local standards.
- To support the multi-skilling work within the department to ensure an efficient service is delivered in line with departmental service level agreements.
