Job description
This role will support the launch of a new and innovative Telederm clinic in Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our medical photography team and the consultant dermatologists to implement an innovative patient pathway experience.
You will provide a professional cost effective, efficient clinical and nonclinical photographic service using digital technologies to service the Trust. To ensure a high technical standard to aid in clinical assessment, patient records, teaching, research and publication purposes. To perform administrative and clerical tasks as necessary for the efficiency of the service.
The successful candidate will have experience in medical or clinical photography. You will have technical, communication and organisational skills. Dermoscopic imaging experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
Medical Photography necessitates the use of complex, specialised camera and lighting systems and a high degree of visual awareness. He/she will have a close working relationship with staff across a variety of professional boundaries in order to maintain efficient links with other wards and Departments throughout the Trust.
