We are excited to be seeking an enthusiastic qualified clinical photographer to join our busy three site department
The Medical Photography and Video service for Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is an evolving service that is rapidly growing to meet the changing needs of its patients and clinicians.
The Trust comprises of three main hospitals; High Wycombe, Amersham and Stoke Mandeville with each site requiring skill and expertise in different specialties including (but not limited to) orthodontics, dermatology, plastics, spinal injuries and ENT. In addition, we also offer a limited service to our colleagues and patients in the community.
The post offered will be primarily based at Amersham Hospital, where you will be supported by the Senior Photographers, Senior Videographer and Clinical Service Lead. This post will include visits to other sites across the Trust as required.
Our service, and the needs of our clinicians and patients, is changing and evolving to encompass new technologies and new ways of providing and accessing healthcare.
Our team aims to provide a flexible approach to the provision of clinical photography and video across the whole Trust estate.
The evolution of our service presents an exciting opportunity for learning and experience alongside a team dedicated to providing the highest quality clinical imaging across all disciplines.
Manage their own workload on a daily basis to meet the demands of the service, deputising for the senior clinical photographer when required.
Assisting in making effective contributions to income generation targets, being aware of photographic expenditure and participating in cost improvement schemes e.g. consumable usage, highlighting new service potential.
Working closely with the Senior photographer in the supervision of trainees and maintenance of service including quality control and performance review.
To assist in the co-ordination and organisation of complex photographic or
video productions and public relations photography, involving the scheduling of staff, patients and accommodation to meet the deadline required.
To be responsible for the safe use, maintenance and storage of valuable digital equipment.
To maintain appropriate levels of stock to meet the photographic requirements of each individual site
