About the role:
An opportunity has arisen for a Full Time Medical Laboratory Assistant to join the Sample Reception Team, Full Time, Permanent contract.
Duties will include undertaking laboratory, data entry and telephone responsibilities within the Sample Reception Area. The role will involve receiving, identifying and preparing all samples and request forms entering the department, the booking in of these requests into our laboratory systems and organising their dispatch, the storing and retrieval of samples and liaising with appropriate departments regarding urgent and precious samples. Working with Microbiology, Chemistry and haematology samples.
