
Medical Laboratory Assistant, Sample Reception - 60 Whitfield St, Central London London, England
Job description
- The receipt, identification and pre-analytical preparation & storage of samples and request forms for various service users.
- Triaging and despatching all samples to correct locations, ensuring an accurate audit trail via the tube tracker system.
- Referral of samples to third party laboratories.
- Working with the RRL Helpdesk team, engaging with clients and service users via telephone and email.
The laboratory operates a 24/7 service so the successful candidate will be expected to participate in shifts to cover this period, according to departmental needs
