Job description

If you have an in interest in laboratory work, this is an ideal opportunity for you to take on a supporting role as part of our Histopathology medical laboratory assistant team at Salisbury.

You will need to be organised, flexible and a good team player who is able to work in a high pressured environment.

The role includes:

  • Numbering specimens recieved
  • Data entry
  • Assisting Pathologists/Scientists at dissection
  • Stock control
  • Equipment maintenance
  • Filing
If you’ve worked within a similar environment, then great. If not, full training will be provided. However, you will need to have an interest in working within this environment and have a good eye for detail and following procedures.

Working hours are between 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
