About the role:
We have a vacancy for a Medical Laboratory Assistant to work within the Ross Hall laboratory at TDL Ross Hall, Glasgow on a full time, fixed-term basis.
Duties will include booking in samples, and dealing with phone requests, rotation through the laboratory performing tasks of analyser loading and maintenance, troubleshooting of analysis, and general support of laboratory functions.
The successful candidate will perform routine booking in, sendaway testing, preparation and tests, including basic analytical processes, accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a qualified BMS and bring any unusual test requests or results to the attention of the appropriate member of staff.
The role will be 37.5 hours per week over Monday to Saturday.
