We are a fast-growing company at the forefront of the healthcare, medical and veterinary training industry as one of the UK's most trusted suppliers of anatomical models, charts and training equipment. Our mission is to improve lives and learning outcomes through our high-quality educational materials.
We are in the development phase of a new and exciting digital patient education tool and are seeking a medical illustrator who has recently graduated or currently enrolled in an accredited scientific or medical art programme or similar to work closely with our senior medical illustrator within our creative team.
Successful candidates will have a chance to work as part of our team creating industry-leading health education products for professionals and consumers and will have proven understanding of creating accurate and beautiful content on a range of subjects.
Ideally suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with a lot of day-to-day variety. It is a freelance, home-based role but there may be opportunities for periodic in-person meetings with the team in London.
Job duties and what you'll achieve:
- Contribute creative ideas in the development of a digital health resources and research topics to help identify any gaps in the market
- Illustrate and repurpose existing veterinary illustrations for posters, digital worksheets and resources throughout website
- Participate in the production of charts and digital content, using InDesign.
- Collaborate with our senior medical illustrator in the creation of anatomy and pathology charts
Requirement:
- Applicants must be studying for (or have recently completed) a scientific or medical art degree or similar
- Have experience illustrating anatomy, experience in veterinary anatomy a plus
- Be willing to learn quickly and work effectively as part of a team
- Must be a UK resident
- Full knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Have excellent organisation skills
