Medical Records
Full Time: Monday through Friday
Bear Mountain Healthcare West Springfield, a skilled nursing facility in West Springfield, MA, is currently seeking a full-time Medical Records.
The position responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Creating new medical records and retrieving existing medical records by gathering appropriate record folders and contents;
- Assigning and recording new medical record numbers;
- Verifying existing medical record numbers;
- Inputting and recording information into the computer;
- Delivering medical records;
- Assist in providing supplies and equipment in an efficient manner;
- Ensure various departments are properly equipped with supplies they require;
- Deliver emergency supplies and equipment as directed;
- Other duties as assigned.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
