Medical Records

Full Time: Monday through Friday

Bear Mountain Healthcare West Springfield, a skilled nursing facility in West Springfield, MA, is currently seeking a full-time Medical Records.

The position responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Creating new medical records and retrieving existing medical records by gathering appropriate record folders and contents;
• Assigning and recording new medical record numbers;
• Verifying existing medical record numbers;
• Inputting and recording information into the computer;
• Delivering medical records;
• Assist in providing supplies and equipment in an efficient manner;
• Ensure various departments are properly equipped with supplies they require;
• Deliver emergency supplies and equipment as directed;
• Other duties as assigned.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
