Events Assistant in Hay Bristol, England
Job description
This is an unusual and exceptional opportunity assisting the Director of a rapidly growing arts and events organization, and father of two children - with your own studio cottage in a magical mountain setting. Half of your time will be taken up playing an important part in an exciting and fast growing arts venue, and half helping with the development of two happy, energetic children (a boy 15, and a girl 12).
The successful applicant will have a strong educational background and be able to demonstrate an interest in events. You will be highly organized and practical as well as being independent and outgoing, and have experience of looking after children. Events, web, or video experience would be an advantage. We live in a house at the top of a valley in the Black Mountains (the studio cottage is a few hundred metres away) so it is essential that you have a car, a full driving license, and a genuine love of the countryside. The house is only ten minutes from the famous book town of Hay, and an hour and a half from Bristol.
We are looking for someone available for an immediate start and are offering free accommodation and all related living expenses in addition to the salary. Please provide a full CV with your reply.
