Job Description: Healthcare Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare professionals in providing care to patients
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers
- Help with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing and dressing
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
- Collect and label specimens for laboratory testing
- Assist with medical procedures under the supervision of healthcare professionals
- Document patient information accurately and timely
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a healthcare assistant or similar role is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and caring nature
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Basic computer skills for documentation purposes
