Rossmoor Medical Associates is a Primary Care Clinic dedicated to providing comprehensive quality medical care to adults and seniors. Our physicians have been providing quality medical services to the Rossmoor Community for over 20 years.
In addition to Internal Medicine/Primary Care services, we also offer the following specialty care and services on-site:
- Cardiology
- LabCorp Laboratory Services
- Gastroenterology
- Limited Ultrasound Services
- Oncology/Hematology
- Neurology
As a Medical Assistant for our primary care practice, you will be responsible for providing clinical support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Interview patients and document basic medical history
- Organize and schedule follow ups
- Update EMR and insurance reports
- Arrange hospital admissions and laboratory services
- Check with patients and type up patients charts
- Assist during medical examinations
- Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
- Administer vaccinations/injections
- Prepare and sanitize patient exam rooms and medical instruments
Skills
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant or completion of a CCMA program. New grads still welcome to apply.
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
Pay rate is dependent on experience and negotiation will be allowed for those with prior medical office experience. New grad medical assistants encouraged to apply as we will train the right fit. Position offers full benefit package .

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
