MEDICAL ASSISTANT | FULL-TIME | PAIN MEDICINE|ANAHEIM/LAGUNA HILLS

ABOUT THE MEDICAL ASSISTANT ROLE:

ProHealth staffing is actively seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join a reputable pain management and surgery medical group located in Orange County, CA. If you are passionate about providing top-notch patient care and thrive in a fast-moving environment, this Medical Assistant role could be the perfect fit for you. This position would require you to work out of two offices, which are Anaheim, and Laguna Hills.

COMPREHENSIVE OFFER DETAILS FOR THE MEDICAL ASSISTANT POSITION:

• Location: Laguna Hills, CA and Anaheim, CA
• Pay: $20-$23 per hour, depending on experience
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MEDICAL ASSISTANT ROLE:

• Greet and prepare patients for appointments, escort them to exam rooms, and ensure their comfort.
• Measure and record patient vital signs, chief complaints, and demographic information in Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Conduct initial screenings and assist physicians during procedures.
• Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR MEDICAL ASSISTANT ROLE:

• 2 years of Medical Assistant experience (experience with Prior Authorizations, CURES, and CoverMyMeds preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume patient environment
• Experience with electronic health records (EHRs), preferably NextGen
• Medical Assistant Certification preferred
