Job description

We are seeking an energetic and caring individual to join our Bowling Green Family practice. **Previous Medical Experience Preferred**

Our Bowling Green Family Medicine office consists of one physician and two mid-level providers. Day shift hours with an early out on Fridays!

Candidate will assist provider with patient visits - logging vitals and medications, entering orders as directed by provider. Full job description provided at interview.

  • Job Knowledge: Must be familiar with office procedures and filing of paperwork. Familiarity with medical terminology, processes, workers’ compensation, records and ethics such as confidentiality, and HIPAA. The medical assistant must also be knowledgeable in specimen collection and infection control. Point of care testing, Drug Screens and BAT knowledge is also preferred.
  • Skills and Equipment: Must provide excellent customer service/relations skills. Skills and equipment used in this position include completing various forms, copying dictation, charts and various copies. Inventory materials, supplies and requisitions stock replacement. Computer, typing, lab equipment, vision testing equipment, audio testing equipment, breath alcohol testing equipment, copy machine and fax.
