Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with a dedicated and professional team of nurses and nursing assistants in Oakfield Special school for children from 3-19years.
You will be trained to care for complex children who require medical support and intervention to help them access school and education. You will work 1:1 with a child each day during term time enabling the child or young person to access their education. All training will be provided and will be specific to the child you are caring for.

You will care for a complex health needs child /young person delivering all their health needs to enable them to attend education. This may be chest physio, suction or care of a tracheostomy. You will meet nutritional needs by learning to gastrostomy feed children. This is just a few examples and you will be taught many skills for caring.
