About The Role
Firstpoint Healthcare are currently recruiting Mental Health Care Assistants to work with the NHS in the Chester area!
The trust provides a number of services ranging from Psychiatric Intensive Care Units (PICU's), Inpatient Mental Health Wards, CAMHS, Dementia Wards, Learning Disabilities Units and Rehabilitation Units.
What your day to day role would include;
- Supporting both children & older adults with severe Mental Health issues
- Providing & receiving informative handovers
- Performing 1:1 Eyesight Observations
- Note Taking
- Supporting patients with everyday needs
- Accompanying patients to hospital appointments
- Liaising with mental health nurses and doctors on the wards
We offer an hourly rate of up to £19.05 per hour (including Holiday Pay) based on shift pattern. We operate a weekly payroll service so this allows you to get paid every Friday! (get that Friday feeling EVERY Friday!)
Applicants must have 1 years worth of UK support work experience in the last 2 years & experience working with children/young adults with Mental Health needs. Applicants must also be able to provide evidence of their MMR vaccination. Without these requirements, you will not be considered for the role.
About You
* Referral scheme - earn £150 per HCA referred and £250 per Registered Adult Nurse referred to Firstpoint – they also get £75!* (must work 80 hrs in the first 8 weeks)
