Healthcare Assistant

We’re looking for a healthcare assistant to work with our client, a Care home in the Eastleigh area. This is a lovely small 27 bedded home. We are looking for caring, Passionate, hardworking carers to join the friendly team! The home encourages personal growth which in turn could lead to progression and offers Diplomas in health and social care!

Role Responsibilities:

· Aiding with resident’s personal hygiene

· Assisting with personal care and daily living activities such as serving meals and feeding, dressing, general assistance with comfort etc.

· Upholding a strong level of clinical standards

· Moving and handling

· Personal care

· Upholding the high standards of Coastal Care Group including undergoing required training and development

· Administering medication

· Domestic duties

· Clean bedpans, bathroom, and other surfaces according to hospital sanitation standards

· Deal with sick people; monitor vital signs

· Communicate with patients and their caretakers

· Provide non-medical care to patients

· Comply with legal and professional standards as required

· Communicate with patients, family members, and health care professionals

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

· No experience needed, we will put you through training!

· Have a passion and genuine desire to provide excellent care to residents and patients- Quality care is a must!

· All applicants must have the right to work in the UK

· You will have strong communication and organizational skills

· You will be reliable and punctual, trustworthy and honest

· Be willing to undergo a Disclosure and Barring Service check
