About the role:
D.Thomas Clinic are looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant to join their dynamic and fast-paced team. This role is heavily focused on social media management, with progression into other areas of digital marketing in the future.
As a Digital Marketing Assistant Apprentice, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop and executive the marketing strategies that drive engagement, growth, and new clients.
Main Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Coordinate social content across different platforms, particularly Instagram, and provide insights and reports using data-driven results to the team.
- Work closely with the PR team to shape owned and earned social media strategies and ensure their effective delivery.
- Create plans that are aligned with marketing strategies.
- Shape content from planning to publishing and posting pre-planned social content in and outside of office hours when necessary.
- Create engaging copy for captions and content across socials.
- Organise brand social content days.
- Carry out influencer research and oversee outreach/content creation.
- Manage our social communities, ensure they are engaged and well-managed, supporting our customer services team.
- Be proactive with engagement opportunities and support on crisis and reputation management as needed.
Creative & Design:
- Manage the design process from concept development to final delivery.
- Constantly look to improve the creative output in terms of innovation relating to new programs and new technologies.
- Create all assets to support the team’s visual needs, including onsite, website, and social media.
- Manage all aspects of the website front end, with guidance from the team and third-party designers.
- Deliver tone of voice to all copy on the site.
- Support on photo and video shoots.
- Manage ongoing case study process, from processing bookings, and capturing content to supporting in final delivery.
Marketing:
- Plan and execute email newsletters and blog posts.
- Plan campaigns for new launches and measure campaign success.
- Identify opportunities for marketing coverage by monitoring social trends, current events, competitor activity, and community tastemakers.
- Support the organisation of events and capture content to plan campaign strategy to support event output.
- Support PR team in event planning and team coordination.
- Identify opportunities for PR coverage and outreach to our target audience.
- Build, manage and strengthen key press/VIP relationships on behalf of D.Thomas Clinic
General:
- Provide admin support to ensure the smooth running of processes and liaise with third-party collaborators and agencies.
- Support reception if needed and answer client calls if needed.
- Understanding NLA license including restrictions, rules and regulations for each social media platform.
- Understanding rules and regulations for GDPR.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Passion for social media and creativity
- Passion for the beauty and skincare industry
- Comfortable with data-driven insights and providing reports and recommendations
- Proactive with engagement opportunities
- Quick learner with some experience in Adobe Suite or willingness to learn
Entry Requirements:
- You’ll need to attend an online interview with our Talent Team and pass initial assessments in maths and English once you have completed your registration.
- You will need to be within a commutable distance to the office location listed.
