The tasks a Live-in Care Assistant will undertake:

  • Assisting clients with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, bathing, and toileting.
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed linen.
  • Assist in the safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of clients.
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments, shopping trips etc.
  • Observe, monitor, and record clients physical and emotional well-being, and promptly report any changes to the office.
  • Support with medication.
  • Assisting clients with meal preparation/fluids.
  • Support clients with social activities, also companionship
  • Help clients to live independently
  • Provide companionship, support, and share activities with clients
  • Professional care and support in your client’s home
  • Household duties to support your client at home
