Medical Assistant - Care New England Medical Group: Opportunities available throughout the greater Rhode Island area. Multiple practice locations with various specialties with available shifts and schedules including full and part time and Per Diem.
Medical Assistant as a Career:
- Provide direct assistance to patients (schedules, billing, general questions)

Job Summary:
This position provides support in the clinical and office functions of the department. Duties include direct patient contact, maintaining office systems, and providing assistance in various clinical functions and procedures.
Provides clerical support to staff and performs other job-related duties as may be required.
Specifications:
- Vocational/Technical training and/or a minimum of six months job-related experience or equivalent is required.
- Strong Medical Secretary background.
- Must possess interpersonal skills, including excellent communication skills to deal effectively with staff, - patients, physician in a courteous manner.
- Professional, pleasant, cheerful, enthusiastic demeanor and neat appearance required.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of patient records.
