Responsibilities:
- Assisting doctor in exam room with all patients.
- Garment & dressing changes.
- Inventory, ordering of supplies, organizing exam rooms.
- Advise clients on skincare and aftercare.
- Take standardized before and after pictures.
- Rooming patients, answering phones, calling in medications/refills, scheduling post ops, scanning documents.
- Intake forms, entering history & physical.
- Maintaining clean and organized treatment rooms, medical instruments and/or equipment.
- Provides patients with post op instructions, teaching and education on skin care, wound care and prescription information.
- Transmits prescriptions to pharmacies as directed by the physician.
- Utilizes appropriate software to record medical records for use in treatment, patient and insurance billing.
- Assist providers during exam visits (“scribe”) including accurately documenting in the medical record, the various anatomic locations and activities as the provider is examining and treating, cosmetic procedures, minor surgical procedures, (including maintaining a sterile environment, apply/administer local anesthesia, remove sutures/staples and change bandages.
- Assists in administering dermal fillers and neurotoxins.
- Assists with lasers in cosmetic treatment.
- Works in a team environment, maintaining professional relationships with patients, providers, supervisors and administrators.
- Maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
- Liaison between Front Office, Surgeon and Practice Manager to facilitate smooth office flow.

- Degree in medical assistance
- Plastic surgery experience is required
Job Type: 32-40 hours per week
Salary: Commensurate to experience and qualifications
Experience:
- Medical Assistant: 2 years (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant: 2 years (Preferred)
- Plastic Surgery experience is required
License:
