Job description
We are looking for full time Nurses/HCA/Phlebotomists on a fixed term contract until June 2023.
Working 4 days a week between Monday – Friday and the hours of 07:45am and 19:30pm.
The roles will be based at the following locations Northampton, Lincoln, Chesterfield, Wellingborough and Boston, working on mobile units with the locations changing every 4 weeks.
The salary we are offering for these roles are £23,250 -£39,600 dependent on qualifications, experience and location.
Working as an integral part of the Research Team onboard the unit, you will:
- Be an essential part of the daily running of the facility.
- Ensure clinical and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure each participant journey and their individual experience is to the highest standard.
- Work as part of the team in ensuring studies are delivered to time and target.
- Have essential effective communication skills.
- Carry out venepuncture to collect study blood samples which will be labelled, packaged, and stored for shipping.
- Collect and enter accurate study information into electronic systems.
- You will be involved in ensuring that the research undertaken safeguards the well-being of participants and is undertaken within ICH Good Clinical Practice guidelines, and all other applicable research regulations.
Requirements
We are looking for RCN registered Nurses with an active PIN or phlebotomists and Health Care Assistants with over 2 years’ experience, be experienced and skilled in the practice of venepuncture, with a proven training history. Trained in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) would be advantageous, although training will be provided. You must also have informed consent experience with proven training history along with experience or interest in the conduct of clinical trials.
You must have full UK residency and hold a valid driving licence and have suitable transport provisions and able to travel throughout the UK.
