.Authority/accountability
  • To develop, review and approve meeting arrangements and materials in a compliant manner
  • Identification of IIS/IIT
Objectives and Tasks
Overall Objective
  • To support the global and NEC scientific affairs objectives and associated non-promotional activities across all Mundipharma therapy areas (with a focus on the established portfolio of medicines (pain, respiratory)
  • To support the needs of the wider business and commercial functions
  • To identify and compliantly liaise with KEEs/KOLs within NEC
  • Educate internal colleagues across departments and functions
Role and responsibilities
  • Maintain up to date clinical and scientific knowledge in all Mundipharma therapy areas
  • Undertake any training required to fulfil the role
  • Appropriately respond to queries and requests for information from external sources within the spirit of the ABPI code
  • Collaborate with the external scientific community to explore ways of facilitating medical education and research within the spirit of the ABPI code
  • Attend and submit content for appropriate regional, national and international meetings and congresses
  • Maintain up to date knowledge on the ABPI, IPHA, EFPIA and BHBIA codes of practice
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders globally and within UK e.g. sales, marketing, market access etc
  • Demonstrate behaviours and integrity in line with ABPI Code and Mundipharma company values
  • Collaborate with global colleagues to implement medical strategies a brand plans
  • Work towards ABPI final medical signatory status if eligible and not already achieved
Key working relationships
External: HCPs (physicians, surgeons, pharmacists, nurses, GPs), HCOs, commissioning groups, payors, payor groups, ORDMs
Internal: Global and NEC medical affairs, regulatory, PV, MI, quality, sales, marketing, market access, supply chain, finance
Job specific competencies
Education
  • MBBS or equivalent with GMC registration (preferred) though MPharm graduates will also be considered
  • Additional BSc, MSc, PhD desirable but not essential
Experience
  • Previous pharmaceutical industry experience – desirable
  • Previous clinical experience in multiple specialities
