Primary Objective: Responsible for supporting the assigned Library Media Specialist in maintaining an open and functioning library while carrying out daily tasks designed to help students achieve both socially and academically.
Essential Functions:
- Process books and materials as needed
- Assist in maintaining a neat and cheerful appearance in the library
- Assist with the annual inventory of books and materials
- Assist teachers in conducting their own research on applicable instructional topics
- Assist in locating material and equipment needed by teachers
- Supervise students using the library
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Education: 60 college credit hours from an approved college or university
