Technical Description:
This position will provide expertise to Macalogic in performing tasks associated with the development of a corporate social media strategy involving everything from website content management to participation in charitable events and using various social media platforms to promote the Macalogic brand, optimizing brand impact, and promoting company growth and development.
The successful candidate will be experienced in manipulating all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap to keep the company's online presence maintained. They will promote superior customer experiences and increase website traffic and revenue.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Builds social media strategy to generate a social media following and increase traffic on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification.
Creates a strategic campaign calendar with goals and agendas to increase follower awareness; (Outlines and draft goals approved by management.)
Communicates with followers as a voice for the company; generates, edits, publishes, and shares daily social media content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections.
Sets up and optimizes company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company's social content.
Collaborates with other departments to develop a unified message to help manage the company's reputation, identify the key players, and coordinate company and department actions.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field, preferred.

Skills and Abilities:
- Understands how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is appealing.
Prepares and presents workable solutions to problems in growth or decline in engagement.
Working conditions:
A combination of onsite at Macalogic Headquarters and telework.
Core hours are Monday through Friday 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM Eastern Time.
