Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring for a Pre-Media Specialist to contribute to our team in LaVergne, TN just outside Nashville. This individual will provide basic technical assistance to the customer to facilitate the integration of publisher data and content at Lightning Source. Responsible for simple testing, editing, and validating data files to ensure Ingram compliance. Communicates to content submitters any issues or concerns with their data and demonstrates the file adjustment to the customer, escalating more complex issues. Interacts regularly with Client Services, Sales, and Operations via email, phone, ticketing systems, and remote and in-person meetings. Works with department leadership to learn internal systems, structure, and additional skills.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ Degree or directly related year for year experience
- 1 year of experience using current InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat programs, or other Mac based graphic design software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responds to basic inquiries – both internal and external – via phone and/or email, regarding simple technical questions or issues related to content submission and compliance.
- Assists customers with basic file format set up and submission by providing step-by-step instructions to customers regarding file submissions via web or ftp site.
- Provides basic file review, analysis, and feedback to customers to ensure the successful submission of content, escalating more complex issues.
- Performs simple file fixes.
- Uses Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Word as well as other software and hardware, to achieve desired results in a timely manner in accordance with publisher specifications and the Lightning Source operating manual.
- Prepares digital interiors and covers using client supplied files in formats including PDF, Photoshop, InDesign, and other programs as needed, in accordance with publisher specifications and the LSI operating manual and templates.
