Local Digital Media Lead/Manager

The Local Digital Media Lead is a very hands-on role and will be responsible for working with the local marketing team on display, social, and YouTube to ensure local digital media campaign goals are fully understood, audience and measurement strategy is in place and then is responsible for manging the activity across the teams and agency partners to the agreed objectives. This includes regular creative optimisation and alignment with local team on communication back to franchisees. The role will require a strength and confidence in “client management” and a strong technical background in understanding at least one (more is beneficial) of the following digital performance channels; paid social, display and YouTube.
This role will cover the UK & Ireland markets.
You will be challenged with lots of data and opportunity to be involved in some of our fastest growing performance media channels as well as building strong partnership relationships with partners.
Main Responsibilities
- Willingness and confidence to understand client relationships, but from a position of digital media and fluent on how its driving results.
- Strong understanding of digital ad tech, reporting, ad servers, analytics and attribution, and how they connect to digital marketing
- Strong understanding of audiences (i.e. acquisition versus retention) and end goals of running digital campaigns.
- Excellent planning and communication skills to be able to articulate audience mid-long term goals alongside objectives to both external and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work with data sets for appropriate measurement working alongside our data team
- Work extremely closely with our national and local marketing teams to deliver the right digital media activities for our franchisee partners
- Manage and work with external agencies to ensure we are operating both effectively and efficiently
- Monitor daily and weekly performance of campaigns across various marketing objectives, improving marketing efficiency, and being responsible for key priorities.
- Be able to present and bring to life local and national digital marketing plans
- Keep eye on and present external industry trends into priorities and project streams
Knowledge Skills & Experience
- Experience working across programmatic display campaigns, paid social and YouTube (or at least one of the above at a very proficient level)
- At least two years’ experience working in a client relationship role for digital media / digital agency
- Experience working with different types of audience selection and optimisations strategies across digital media
- Structured and organized approach to data and creative performance
- Proficient levels in excel and analytics
- Functional knowledge across multiple biddable marketing channels
- Approachable and supportive style with strong interpersonal, diplomacy and relationship-management skills
- Very confident in being able to deliver presentations to wider teams
