An exciting opportunity to join a respected Logistics provider at their Head Office in East London has arisen for an experienced Marketing & Media Specialist. This position is part of the Marketing & Media Team based in the UK and will establish formal marketing initiatives in relation to content development, customer communications/events, lead generation, marketing intelligence and other activities that will drive the achievement of the clients stated business objectives. You will independently support the Senior Marketing Manager in planning and developing marketing plans, content and initiatives (campaigns, events collateral, etc) and ensure projects are delivered to defined budgets, timelines and quality standards. Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support EMEA overall brand/ marketing strategy development and the local go-to person for marketing resources.
  • Plan and implement marketing strategy tactics across all channels, including campaigns, social media, web, advertising, events and sales enablement initiatives.
  • Develop related marketing collaterals such as sell sheets, case studies, PowerPoints and videos in accordance with brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial team to create original content for sales pitch, edit and proof- read content as needed.
  • Develop social media posts in accordance with overall social media plan strategy/plan.
  • Develop and write high quality and compelling content, not limiting to press releases, customer advisories, and announcements for a wide range of internal and external channels.
  • Report on effectiveness of marketing initiatives; provide recommendation and insights.
  • Support market intelligence and lead generation initiatives; develop/ drive insights to industry, local market, and adhoc research when needed.
  • Liaise with internal departments, creative agencies and other vendors in the development and delivery of marketing tools and resources.
  • Support the wider marketing team on other adhoc duties.

The successful candidate will possess a Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Corporate Communications, Business or related field. Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of related experience in B2B marketing, with at least 2 years in a multinational company
  • Solid copywriting skills for marketing collateral, campaigns/ social media content
  • Excellent interpersonal communications and collaboration skills
  • Mature and strong team player, proven ability in working effectively cross functionally
  • Able to work independently and multi-task
  • Good knowledge of different channels and social media platforms to deliver content effectively to internal/ external targeted audience
  • Knowledge of website/ marketing automation tools e.g. Pardot, and experience with design and video editing tools preferred.
